I have compiled a list of world best times based on the list of Masters national records that I have access to. World Masters Short Track Times
Obviously it is not totally comprehensive as far as world records, but it is start towards compiling a list of such times as I am unaware of any such list.
All the records listed are from the current national records of Canada, United States, Australia, Scotland and England. Some records of England and Scotland have not been included as I could not verify the age of the competitor at the time of the record (different age brackets) but if I am advised of the skaters DOB at the time, I will happily include the times.
If anyone has access to other country's records, please feel free to direct me to where I can locate them.
Remember, these times are unofficial as far as being world records.

Where did ya find that record of Blaine Hill's??
From the '05 Alberta Open results in Medicine Hat??
I won the "Junior" division at that competition! I'm probably on the wrong blog then, hey? ;)
What's the link to the results?
All the times listed in the 'World' record list came from what I have as the current National records of various countries.
Unfortunately, I only have a link to the SSC site where I found the age group records. I would suggest that you contact SSC and request a copy of the protocol that you are chasing.
Obviously there will always be the case where faster times have been skated, but I figured the safest way is to list times that have already been ratified by ISU members.

do times of over 30s still skating world cups count?
Mmmm, it poses a very good question and I can't see why not. Happy to hear others thoughts on it.
As long as the record is ratified by a national body, I will add it to the list of records - keeping in mind that this list has been compiled by me and is unofficial.
Please email me with the details at the email address at the bottom of the site, and I will add it in. ohterwise, give me a hint as to where I can find the details,
regards
Frank
Satoru Terao is a stand out with his 41.284 in a 500m WC final in SLC 2008 as a 33 yr old. There are other old timers still out there, speedy Italians Fabio Carta and Nicola Rodigari, Jean-Francois Monette and FL Tremblay have been around for a while too and li jiajun...
After a little thought, there is no reason not to recognise the age division times. I do know however that some skaters who still skate open division resent being refered to as 'Master' but recognising times is a true reflection of the best times being skated by these age categories.
Years ago, most skaters would be thinking of retirement around 25 years and upwards, so to be skating 41's at 33 is amazing. I am happy to add times skated in world cups and world championships.
Thanks
Frank
